  • Daniel Jung- Lead Pastor

    Daniel has been serving as Lead Pastor since 2022. He is married to his wonderful wife, Caanon, and they have four awesome kids: Elijah, Nathan, Grace, and Hannah. Daniel is a 6th generation Austinite and has a BA from Texas A&M University and a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Some of his favorite things are good friendships, basketball, fishing, traveling, kayaking, gardening/permaculture, and entrepreneurship.

    Fun Fact: At one time, Daniel used to have an afro... when he had hair... he misses his hair

  • Kendall Ringler- Associate Pastor

    Kendall has served as the Associate Pastor of The Hill Church since October 2019. He is married to his wife Amy and has two sons, William and Benjamin. Kendall has a B.A. in Christian Studies from Dallas Baptist University and an M.A. in Theology and Ministry from Howard Payne University. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Education Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an avid NASCAR fan and loves eating at Whataburger. His hobbies include woodworking or finding a good coffee shop or bookstore."

    Fun Fact: He finished second two years in a row with his homemade ice cream in the City of Liberty Hill 4th of July Ice Cream Contest.

  • Nelo Velez-Worship Leader

    Nelo has been serving as worship leader at The Hill since March 2023. He, his wife Wanda, and their two daughters, Amy and Alyson, moved from Puerto Rico in 2019 following God’s calling for their family. Nelo is also a second-generation pastor and is currently leading the Hispanic ministry ICF Casa de Provisión, which meets at The Hill Church on Sunday afternoons. He has a Master’s degree in theology with a concentration in worship from Grand Canyon University and is also the Head of School at Fortis Academy here in Liberty Hill. One of his favorite things to do is go to concerts with his wife and daughters.

    Fun Fact: Coming from a coffee town on the island (Adjuntas, PR), Nelo really enjoys coffee. 

  • Lea Wukasch-Childrens Ministry coordinator

    Lea has served as Kids Ministry Coordinator since 2020. She is married to her husband Bryan and they have three kids, Ethan, Justin and Kenzie, plus son-in-law Zach. Lea and her family love living in Liberty Hill where they have enjoyed watching their kids play volleyball, tennis, and basketball. When not following kids to sporting events, Lea is found working part-time at the Blue Door Gift Store and Boutique. Traveling, finding new places to eat, and decorating her home for different holidays and seasons are some of her favorites.
